Mastering Your DSLR & Mastering Your Flash

You see, in photography, the photographer MAKES the photos. Camera doesn't. Camera just shoot what you ask it to.
And in these two-day workshop, you will learn how to see things differently, break the rules, create new ones and most importantly, how to TRICK a camera into shoot great photos FOR you.
In Mastering Your DSLR, you will learn:
- Understand how to focus well and get those photos sharp all the time.
- Understand White Balance
- Knowing how to control your ISO to achieve the right ISO and manage the noise
- Understanding how the camera's build in light meter measures light, and effectively choosing the right metering mode (who says it must be on Matrix all the time?)
- Go off AUTO or P mode, and learn how to use the other modes such as Aperture Priority, Shutter Priority, Portraits, Landscape modes effectively. Understand what the camera does when you set it to these modes
- 1.5 hours of theory and 2.5 hours of practical shoot (model-shoot practical included)
In Mastering Your Flash, you will learn:
- Understand how a hot-flash works to light up your shoots
- When to use a flash and when NOT to use a flash
- Understand how TTL works and trick it to get amazing photos ALL the time
- Learn to know when you can go off TTL and shoot in Manual mode
- Learn how to control foreground and background of lighting effectively by using flash
- Learn how to obtain true studio quality lighting using your hot-shoe flashes
- 1.5 hours of theory and 2.5 hours of practical shoot (model-shoot practical included)
