 I am in need of help, because i'm seriously slacking from my project.
Where is my source of inspiration, source of motivation and creativity
that i used to have? The determination is demoting and degrading me.
Nevertheless, i'll give my best to complete this. Don't give up on me
yet, because the best is yet to come! Cheers!
 Before my sister left for UK, i gave her my Sennheiser headphones and i
bought myself this funky headphone called Skullcandy Hesh Rasta. Just a
week before, a friend of mine introduced this headphone to me and i
find it really unique in terms of design. The sound quality is just as
good as the Sennheiser's. So, if you wanna find a headphone with style
and quality. Go for the Skullcandy series!
 This tree is tall, huge and big. If and only if i could stay firm like
the tree stuck to the core of the ground and last for a long time. Life
hasn't been that amazing recently. Well, i guess sometimes you just
gotta stick in longer to see what's install in the end. Life goes on!
 It's not always about sharp and
clear imagines in photography. At times you gotta just let it show the
motion flow and movement in an image. Here, i shot a bird flying using
blur to portray the movement. Even though it's not clear, you have to
give credit to the blur motion of the wings and the other small details.

I
kept walking regardless of how fatigue i was into the deep and
dangerous jungle hoping to find a source of rescue. As i kept walking,
i stumbled upon this beautiful and magnificent water fall. All i had
with me was my Nikon D90, tripod and the camera bag. Well, what to do?
Lets snap a photo for Day 62. Hey you, back into reality. That was just
one of my random dreams i had. This shot was taken in Lake Garden, KL
from a man made water fall. I notice that Lake Garden is having a major
renovation for absolutely no one is utilizing the park anymore or maybe
it's not well taken care. The jogging tracks were cracking, tree rooted
up, and etc. I hope someone does something about it.
 This day would be a memorable day
for Jeremy Chang as he accepted Christ as his personal savior and
committing himself into water baptism. Before the water baptism kicked
off, he came out and shared his life experience before coming to know
the Lord and after. Hands down, they were all very inspiring and
heartwarming describing God's wonderful transformation in their life.
After service, a whole crowd of people adjourned to the water baptism
pool area to be the witness for this special event. Jeremy successfully
completed his water baptism and now he is born again. We just want to
thank God for everything he has done in our life. All glory to God!
 I have no idea what plant is this called but it sure is interesting.
Check out the veins of the plant, so vivid and striking. Plants are
really essential in the world, and we can't let them extinct. So, keep
breeding whatever plants you have at home and keep em' surviving.

This
shell belongs to the Turritella species and it's a medium-sized sea
snails with an operculum, marine gastropod mollusks in the family
Turritellidae. They have tightly coiled shells, whose overall shape is
basically that of an elongated cone. This was picked up numerous years
ago while strolling by the beach. This was shot with a black background
and later inverted the colors in Photoshop. I'm loving the different
shades of blue from dark to light.
 Here's a little advertisement for
the famous Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. restaurant. I had dinner over there
tonight, and the shrimps were so yummy. This particular drink here is
called Run Forest Run. It's fresh oranges, strawberries, bananas and
raspberry non-fat yogurt mixed and squeeze into one drink. Notice the
bokeh in the background? Totally lovely! :D
 This is actually a photo of the bark of a tree using the zooming out
effect on the lens to create a vertex flow of movement in the photo.
Nothing much is going on this week. Anyways, Selamat Berpuasa to all my
Muslim friends out there and have a great month ahead.
 This can actually be a pretty nice wallpaper for my toilet, very
peaceful and calm. This was shot around 8pm after the sun has set while
the sky is still bright. The key element in this picture is the
silhouette trees over the lovely tone of night sky. The noise in the
picture was purposely made to give it a dirty and old feel.
 This
was shot from my room window, pitch black at 12am with a very slow
shutter speed approximately 30". This shot was straight from camera
without any edits and i'm pretty impressed with the results. My
favorite part of this picture is the color of the sky which turned out
to be mysteriously purplish red. Just an incredible view!
 I went into the kitchen and
poured myself some ribena, and it looked so cool when I did it. So, I
went to my room and grabbed my camera! Check out the crazy details in
the cup. Only if our eyes can freeze or do slow-mo then i'll be cool.
 This dog belonged to someone for almost her entire life. Since she was
10 years old in fact. They were both young, exuberant and filled with
energy playing with each other in gardens, parks and etc. Right now,
the girl is 18 years old and the dog is 8 years old (that's 64 human
years) they've both grown up and aged but the bond they have for each
other still remains as when they were young 10 years ago. Btw, his name
is Scampi.
 What is this tall and weird
looking thing? This a satellite tower located near my house for
everyones communication sake. It would be really sweet to shoot this
with wide angle at night with long exposure. To shame, i don't own a
wide angle lens.

It is so difficult and tiring to
shop for a futsal shoe. Initially, i wanted to get the Adidas F5 futsal
shoe and here's how the story breaks down. Started off the journey at
The Curve's Al-iksan finding out they have no size. Next stop, The
Strand's Al-iksan finding out they have no size too. Moving on, Royal
Sporting House in One Utama (old wing & new wing) finding out they
have no size too. I gave up and just bought the Total90 Shoot III IC
instead. This is the series that Fernando Torres from Liverpool wears.
Yet to test this futsal shoe. Well, no worries for there's an upcoming
match soon. The backdrop is actually to give the shoe a swoosh feeling
as though it's really fast like the speed of light.

I
was in Borders, looking around in the magazine section and i stumbled
across this magazine that shows food coloring dripping into water
creating this mysterious eerie kind of shapes and formation. It was
pretty cool, and i decide to try it myself. I used poster color instead
of food coloring. The best and interesting part of this is when the
paint falls into the water having a stop in time for the paint to
disperse.
 I felt like taking a monochrome/black & white picture today.
This photo was taken in the alley behind my granny's house. She has
been living in this house for more than 30 years already thus the old
and run-down look of the back alley. The drain was so filthy and smelly
with litters all gathered in there. Should the government come and
clean em'? On another note, my blog is kinda screwed up and it's
driving me crazy. Picture missing, header missing and etc. Hope it'll
all be good soon!
 This is how i'm feeling right now: colorful, cheerful, happy and
joyful. If you're feeling down and out, why not add in some color in
your life and make it happening. Enjoy life with happiness and not
sadness! This was shot on a bunch of led lights in I-City with a diy
big heart shaped cut-out.
 My church had a family outing to I-City, Shah Alam. That makes it my
second time visiting there. Here's a photo of the colorful and bright
trees lined up in display. Nothing has change since the last time i
visited, everything is still the same except the entrance fee which
used to be RM2 has been increased to RM10 per car recently. This is a
good venue for all photographers to practice shooting lights in night
photography and a place for bokeh lovers. Go challenge and knock
yourself out!
 Had a trip over to Digital Mall today and bought this lovely Sennheiser headphone. *update more later*

I
was hiking in a forest nearby my house during the evening and i saw the
sun shining bright through the trees surrounding it. It gives me a 'I
am the chosen one!' feeling. I'm loving the long flares from the sun
giving the picture a new perspective. There's more to life and i'm
gonna find out what it is. Gonna make a comeback and shine bright!
 The evening sky came and it's time for me to take a photo for today. I
found this lamp post next to the big, visible, and glaring sun. By
increasing the aperture, the sun transform into a star like shape with
sharp, long ends. Two details that makes this picture attractive is
probably the black silhouette of the trees, and the interesting glare
from the sun.
 As the sun became intense at sundown i was compelled to capture the
resultant imagery before i close the blinds three-quarters. The weather
and sun was really blazing hot today. Though, it felt good having a
cold bath after a hot day. I gave a vivid surreal feel to the picture
making it look dynamic and rich in the tone of colors.
 This is by far the most challenging photography i've ever done. Just
think about the lighting and the set up of the shot, it's all about
trial and error. Not forgetting, considering the enough amount of volume
and visibility of the smoke to make the photo beautiful. I've actually
been trying to take this photo for a month since the day i started this
project, but failed. I gave up, tried again and again and, i finally
succeeded. Lesson learnt, never give up!
 Always strive for first in whatever you do, and give your best. Set a
good example and guide the lost into the light. It's been a long time
since i last played pool. Missing those college days when pool was a
favorite pass time for every students. Here's a brief description of
pool, if you don't know what it means: Pool also known as pocket
billiards is a cue sports played on a pool table, which balls are
deposited into six pockets evenly spread out along the rails as the main
goal of play.
 Every week i've been brainstorming to illustrate water droplets,
exploring ideas about alternative ways that water sources could be
managed to be capture in different ways. It was a rainy night, and a
simple compilation of water droplets from the rain formed on the surface
of the wooden stool made the picture. The color seems dull, but i'm
digging the pattern of the water droplets and how it spreads everywhere.
 Yet another macro shot featured in my project 365. It's a wild plant
that grows in abandoned fields and just anywhere. Small little details
like this that we don't realize with the bare eyes is what i'm trying
to convey and relate to. The weekend is here. Happy Friday everyone! :D
 This is a macro shot of a Calamagrostis Acutiflora 'Karl Foerster'
a.k.a Feather Reed Grass. It's commonly found in abandoned fields or
plantation of any sort. As it matures, it rises into this 3-4' high
cluster in the landscaped border of your view. From ones bare eyes,
this plant might look boring and dull but what i'm trying to display is
the beautiful side of the plant. Photography isn't just about taking
nice photos, but to show the beauty and details of an object.

It
has been a quiet week so far, nothing much; nothing interesting. Life
is seriously a boredom at times. Oh well, look on the brightside, i
can't wait for September and October to set in. Haven't been to a
holiday for too long. This photo was taken in my office from the sixth
floor. I'm loving the gradient of the vibrant sky, and how the clouds
creates an opening as the tall building closes in the whole photo. I'm
still waiting for more opportunities to open up to me just like how the
clouds are opening for the sky. Don't rush to things, let them open and
reveal to you!
 A watch is a timepiece made to be worn by a person to keep track of time. In the recent years, i have developed a unique fetish for retro and urban styled watches especially from Fossil. This is my second and new Fossil watch i just bought today. That's it, no more buying watches for the next 8 years. What do you think of this timepiece?
 This is my Crumpler collection so far since 2005. My first ever was the
Western Lawn followed by The Complete Seed, 7 Million Dollar Home and
the newest addition the Karachi Outpost (s). Not forgetting, I own an
Industry Disgrace too. Crumpler is just superb in terms of quality,
design, and satisfaction. The picture on the right is the Karachi
Outpost (s) which i just bought today. It's a camera/laptop/carry-around
bag. A review will be done soon. Which Crumpler should i get next? :)
 Gene's family and a few of us celebrated Keira's birthday over at Pizza
Hut. This jolly and energetic girl just turned four years old today.
We had a nice time chewing on our pizza, fellow shipping with each
other, taking photos, and partying. Check out Keira's birthday cake.
It's huge and delicious. Anyways, Happy Birthday Keira! :D
 Talent Fest 2010 is back, and even bigger. This time around we had more
performances and participants. I performed with my dance crew called
GAboyz, and did an acoustic duet with Nadine. Overall, it was a great
day and it feels really good performing on stage. The picture above is
during a performance by Jamie & Giovana doing a duet performance
as well. Many talents were revealed during this day and it was really
enjoyable. Here's an advise for everyone: Use your talent wisely and
appreciate it.
 This picture was taken in Miami, FL. Sigh, just kidding. Somehow this picture looks like Miami, FL with the clear blue vivid cloudy sky and that tree at the side. Nice formation of the clouds and there were so many shapes to pick from. Finally made up my mind and went with this. Well, another ordinary day passing by and yes, the weekend is here. Tomorrow's gonna be a pretty exciting and happening day with Talent Fest 2010. Am looking forward to it. Will be performing Kutless - Hungry with Nadine and dancing with the GAboyz Crew.  While grieving for ideas in my room, an idea popped up into mind. I had visions and images of ferris wheel lighted up at night constantly flashing in my head. As i go on thinking about it, it struck my head to capture the shot in slow shutter mode. It would be impossible to find a ferris wheel at this wee hour, so, instead of a real one, i made my own. I used Christmas led lights and taped them to a table fan and used the motor to rotate the lights. The circular and orb energy movement is so interesting!
 While driving home from work, i couldn't resist but to stop my car by the side and snap a picture of the well and beautiful lit sky. The clouds, tone, and bright orange color is just amazing. Love how the cloud spreads around the sky. Somehow this picture gives me a safari, Africa, and lion king feeling. You getting that too? :)

I had a lil' tad bid of fun with Day 28 playing the candle and fire. Thus, today i tried something even more extreme. Does burning paper consider as a form of art? Well, i'm glad to say that it's a form of art. I decided to burn and play with the flames of the fire and see how pretty it comes out in the camera. The burning smell was horrible and smelly. A mask is required for this photoshoot! I'm really liking the small details of the burnt paper.

Lets keep the fire burning strong for my
Project 365 and not let it burn out. As 365 days sweeps by, let the
candle stay strong and firm. My heart tells me not to give up, my
instinct encourages me to move on. Some say i'm insane, some say i'm
mad. You have no idea what is going on in my mind right now?

The night was getting late, and i
decide not to go out to shoot. So instead, i stayed home and did my
own shots. It's always challenging to shoot at home, especially when
your house don't have anything interesting. Not forgetting, lazy to
set up, and many other excuses. Anyways, what i had in mind was apple
and splashes and this is what i achieved. The apple taste sweet by
the way! :)
 Day 26 marks the 2nd
death anniversary of my grandpa. On this day, two years ago, my
granny and i witnessed his death by his bed side. It has been two
years since he has gone to be with the Lord in heaven. This piece of
antique camera is the Voigtländer Bessa II and it belonged to my
grandpa. This is the closest thing that i can relate to him. In
remembrance of him, i would love to dedicate this picture to him. I
love you, grandpa!

I just picked up this old
film camera from my granny recently. It's a Konica MT-7 equip with
36mm F4 Konica lens and a pop-up flash. Apparently according to my
granny she said this belonged to my aunt. This is so old skool and
it's probably my first time experiencing it. I'm planning to revive
it and try shooting with film. It's time to go back in time and
cherish the equipments in the pass. All for the passion of
photography!

Today was rather a slow
day. Seems like time slowed down and everything else kept going on.
Anyways, after jogging i looked up into the dark sky and it was a
starry night. I rarely see stars this day except for today. Really
wonderful, and by the way, that big dot is the moon.

At times we make mistakes and regret.
Just glad it's all sorted out! Check out the skies, and it's tone.
What a wonderful sight God has created for us to enjoy and
experience. Everyone should start appreciating and just enjoy God's
creation. This is my first ever HDR attempt, and it isn't a good one.
I'll be back with a better and much improved HDR picture soon!
 I finally bought my Donny Miller "I
don't care anymore." Classic Slip On Vans yesterday. It was
haunting my dreams for too long, and the sleepless nights thinking of
how beautiful a shoe can be. For those of you who don't know who
Donny Miller is, Donny Miller is a street artist from the United
States of America. Next Vans to get is the Rise Against edition.
| Viva La Espana! Spain is the winner of
the 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa after overcoming Holland in an
adrenaline rush match. Andres Iniesta, the spaniard magician scored
the only goal in the dying minutes of the extra time to give Spain
the World Cup title. It was worth it staying up for every Spain match
and supporting them. Well, that's the end of the 2010 World Cup. Four
more years to the next one!
 Not too long ago, i was using a Nikon
D60 in a daily basis to take photos. Recently, i've upgraded into a
Nikon D90. The results and outcome of the picture taken is so high in
quality and it's sheer satisfaction. Now i'm open up to more
opportunity and features and hope to utilize this piece of device to
its maximum capabilities. In the picture, my Nikon D90 is accompanied
by a vertical battery grip and the awesomely cute 50mm f1.8 lens. My
camera is Monstrous! :D
 It was a very happening day for GAYA!
(Gospel Assembly Youth Aflame) as we had the JAM Session and GAYA!
Day this week. The praise and worship session was outstanding and
enjoyable. Here's a picture of Joshua, worship leader for today. I
like the effect on the picture and the color turned out great.

Different views have different point of
view. Be able to open and accept different ideas, and don't jump into
conclusions. Here's an illustration of my dads glasses held in a
field of bokehs. In the point of view through the glasses it shows
more bokeh than the usual eyes would see. Am lovin' the delicious
looking yummy bokeh through the lens of the glasses!
 Just a bunch of sliced silly bananas flying and floating in thin air.
This week has been a banana week, because i've been eating two bananas a
day. Good for constipation, i reckon. Check out the highest banana!
It's defining gravity yo! :D
