Days after days, we have been getting request from our dear friends from the East Side of Malaysia to hold a class there and now, Nikonian Academy would love to enjoy more future endeavors with our East Side friends. So here we are... presenting to you both the EVER-FAMOUS classes (Basic to Intermediate and Flash Photography) in Kota Kinabalu with the pleasure and courtesy of the Nikonian Academy Trainers.
Basic to Intermediate Workshop (Kota Kinabalu, Sabah) In this workshop full day workshop, you will learn how to master your camera FULLY on Manual Mode and with the following:
understanding and mastering the vital settings & controls of popular camera model
how to hold your camera correctly, the professionals' way
understanding how Auto-Focusing works (AF-S, AF-A and AF-C)
Aperture and effectively understand its relationship to focusing, depth of field and exposure
Shutter and effectively understanding its relationship to speed, movement and exposure
ISO settings, its functions to exposure and learn how to effectively control noise and improve definition
White Balance settings
effective focusing techniques, like how professional photographers do it

Flash Photography Workshop (Kota Kinabalu, Sabah) In this workshop, you will learn:
- learn the FIVE most important Flash & Lighting Theories in photography.
- the differences between pop-up flash and hotshoe flashes. What are their differences? Which one should you buy?
- the basics of how using hot-shoe flashes' i-TTL, eTTL, TTL, Manual & wireless modes.

- using wireless, radio-trigger and optical-trigger in studio photography.
- learn hi-key and low-key lighting techniques.
- How to use color gels, color filters, brollies, gobo and various snoots to achieve unbelievable lighting results.
- Indoor/studio and outdoor model shooting session.
- optimising your hot-shoe flashes to work with other camera models. We will teach you how to achieve studio quality photos using various brands of hot-shoe flashes
- you will learn how to effectively hack your flash set-ups to achieve indoor and outdoor professional quality studio lights.
